Spike Jones Has Directed Jay + Kanye’s Otis Video

Following Jay’s surprise visit to hot 97, Big Homie confirmed that the video for Otis has been shot and its “simple and amazing.” The director at the helm is none other than Spike Jones of AdaptationBeing John Malkovich,and We the wild things are fame… As far as music videos under his belt he did Biggies Skys the limit, Diddy’s all about the benjamins (Rock Remix) and Ludacris’s Get back video. Additionally he also directed the short film We were once a fairy tale inspired by Kanye’s song See you in my nightmares off the 808 and heartbreaks album  and co directed Ye’s Flashing Lights video off the Graduation album. Dj Jazzy Jeff + Ayah – Back for More (Album)

The legendary producer/Dj teams up with the very talented Ayah, am using talent broadly not just to describe her vocal/writing/composing abilities as the pic shows. Dj Jazzy Jeff is known for collaborating with different artists and coming up with great projects, this 13 song project is no exception; what follows are visuals from selected songs of Ayah’s previous projects the last of which is a short film.

The Roots + Hennessy: ‘The Art of Blending’

In 2010 Hennessy in collaboration with The Roots did a bunch of shows in Chicago, Detriot, New York, Miami and LA. This Artistry Tour brought together artist from different genres, the results of this amalgamation can be viewed by following the link below. Now The legendary Roots Crew Being a Hip Hop band rocked with usual suspects of Hip Hop, Pop and RNB acts, then they brought out the big guns.

THE MAKING OF THRILLER

It been two years to the date since the King Of Pop died, may his soul rest in eternal peace. An innovator and entrepreneur he is/was the epitome of a daimon/genius. The following are a behind the scenes look at the making of the critically acclaimed award winning Music video/short film for the song Thriller off the similarly titled album. Directed by John Landis of Blue Brothers, American werewolf in london(where Michael Got inspiration for this video which he co wrote with Landis) and E.T. fame. No FCP, no After Effects, no Green Screen, no CGI and still put most videos to day to shame. Damn!!!!

Tune for Two – Short Film

 Couldn’t stop cracking up at this when i first watched it, and no its not because i have been Desensitized its because of one the casting was/is perfect especially for the assassin/hitman look at his expression at 1.05 and 1.49 mark. Two the concept and the twist is sick don’t front you know you thought it was gonna go oneway..the question is what way did you think…

BIG HOMIE & BIG WILL

Two Titans in their respective games, Big Homie visits Big Will on the set of Men in Black 3. The two and their families have a good and successful track record with regards to business partnerships from Carol’s daughter beauty products to Fela the Broadway musical and potentially now a Big screen adaptation of Annie the Broadway Musical with Willow Smith in the title role. But could we see more in future musically?  I mean, could Big Will grace one of HOV’s album (Watch the Throne)? or is that chapter in his life closed? Is Big Homie tryna get into acting?
