From the executive producers that brought you Entourage (thats in its final season) comes the second season of How to make it in America. Shot on location in the Big Apple, it follows the lives of two fashion entreprenuers tryna make it big and achieve their version of the American Dream; in a city known for it competitiveness especially in the fashion industry. In it we bare witness to their failures, their families, their lives, their loves and their laughs while being exposed to the different subcultures and scenic landscapes within NYC.
Season 2 starts in October.
This HBO show is a period drama focusing on Enoch “Nucky” Thompson (based on historical criminal kingpin Enoch Lewis Johnson) and is an adaptation from a chapter of Nelson Johnson’s book, Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City. Enoch “Nucky” Thompson is played by Steve Buscemi of Resovoir Dogs(Mr Pink), Armageddon and Con Air Fame. The undisputed boss of Atlantic city during the prohibition period of the roaring Twenties, Nucky Thompson is involved in Bootlegging, Gambling and Prostitution. Nothing happens in the city without his knowledge and without him getting paid, he takes being a treasurer to a whole other level as he makes and breaks politicians, all while fending off competion from organised crime from other states and cities as well as toothless Federal Agents.
Executive produced by Martin Scorsese who also Directed the first episode which was is a bench mark for other directors to mirror with regards to aesthetics to make the show seamless.
